The Clash of Civilizations:
Will the 21st Century Really Be America’s Century?
Mark Seddon, diplomatic correspondent for Al Jazeera English, offers a fresh perspective into what motivates the developed and the developing world, with a special emphasis on the latest conflicts and some candid advice on what to do about them. His unique insights come from being a former member of the UK Labour Party’s ruling National Executive Committee. While involved with the committee, it was not uncommon for Seddon to come into contact with such key political players as Tony Blair. He’s not afraid of controversy and will argue that the failure of politicians and journalists to challenge accepted “wisdom” is polarizing our planet in new and ever more dangerous ways.
